Many can copy a photograph. I aim at bringing out the inner core of my subject. Hence, the more information you can provide me with, the better: photos, letters, favored reading/music/activities, etc... When at all possible, of course, I prefer live sitting.
I work in oil on canvas. It usually takes me 1 month to complete a painting.
The cost, all taxes included, varies according to the size of the canvas:
50 x 70 cm = $4,000
70 x 90 cm = $7,000
Custom sizes are opened to negotiations.
The paintings are sent around the world, rolled in tubes, trough Fedex. The cost of shipping is not included in the prices.
